Sometimes when I'm bored, I will go to the "Comics and Animation" category of Yahoo Answers
and look for questions that I can answer and no-one else bothered to answer. But something
I noticed in this category is, it seems like the ones posting questions are a bunch of ignorant
gradeschoolers who just started to use the computer and doesn't know how to use search engines and
thought that asking question in Yahoo Answers is the easiest way to know the answers.
On top of that, the most frequent question you will stumble upon is "Who is your favorite Naruto character?"
or something along those lines. As if they will gain something if somebody answer that question.
Another thing I noticed is, most of their questions are easily found in wikipedia, or they could have
just typed it in google or yahoo or whatever search engine they prefer.
Lastly, the questions with arguable/opinionated/debatable answers.
Questions like "Who is stronger, Naruto or Ichigo?" or "Who is teh handsomer, Sasuke or Sai?".
If they would post questions like that, they better of go to some anime forums and debate all they want.
And hence I've come to my conclusion that American kids thinks that Naruto and Bleach are
teh most awsomest anime eva! Which annoys me as an anime addict myself because they could have seen better.
Heck even One Piece is a hundred-folds better in my opinion. Take it from someone who has been watching anime
since 1990 and finished over 200 anime titles.
In the end I cannot blame them because Anime is still new to America. And with that I realized that for me,
the only good thing about my country Philippines is; there is already anime here even before I am born.
